Objectives
The association works on achieving the following objectives:
- Qualifying the Bahraini citizen & resident to work in the field of Travel & Tourism and seeking to establish a training center affiliated with the association.
- Working on increasing the level of travel and tourism services in Bahrain, developing it to become better and encourage domestic tourism.
- Discuss and deliberate the matters that are of concern to the members.
- Working with all the governmental and civil parties concerned with travel and tourism in order to achieve mutual interests.
- Providing advice and assistance to all travelers through issuing booklets or flyers during travel and tourism seasons.
- Establishing a relationship between the association and other similar entities in the Arabic world and foreign countries and participate with them in events and activities that is organized within the ability of the association and according to the regulations and law applicable in the state
- Establishing stable standards to ensure the quality of tourism services and their development and spreading awareness of these standards, concepts and terms of tourism and the rules for practicing tourism activity in the community without prejudice to Islamic values and the national heritage in the Kingdom.
- Develop a guide for the procedures for applying quality standards for tourism services, to ensure the protection of both consumers and activity practitioners, collect and classify relevant information and statistics, and provide them to the competent authorities.
- Raising the professional level of the members of the association and spreading professional awareness among them, while fully preserving the traditions and etiquette of activity.
